Zebrafish embryo, from 4-somite stage to 15-somite stage (about 6 hours), stained with Bodipy-Ceramide.

The movie shows a dorsal view of the neural epithelium, anterior is to the left. At the end of the movie, the otic vesicle, which is adjacent to rhombomere 5, can be seen. This allows one to assign rhombomere boundary identites.
