Following are three movies of two zebrafish larvae at 4 days post fertilization. Cartilage is revealed by confocal imaging of the foxp2ENa:GPF transgenic line and bone is revealed by vital staining with Alizarin Red S. The images are segmented in AMIRA software to label various elements.
The first movie is of segmented elements of cartilage, then segmented bone, then the two together. Click on the name key of the cartilages or the name key of the bones to see the movie.
Following the name keys is a movie of the camera rotation of the segmented bone and cartilage elements. Click on the image to see the rotation movie.
In addition, the third movie is of a second fish of the same age obtained in the same way but at a more ventral oblique angle. Click on the image to see the movie.
