NB 5-2 generates a large number of intersegmental interneurons that extend several segments in both directions by stage 17. NB 5-2 also generates a motoneuron that extends to muscle 12 via SNb.
These movies are stereo images of NB 5-2 clones. A stage 15 clone is on the left and a stage 17 clone in on the right. 3D glasses will enhance the stereo optics, but we find that most viewers can see the three dimensionality at this magnification without the assistance of the glasses.
