These movies are of a stage 16 NB 6-1 clone. Intersegmental interneurons have not yet extended their axons across segmental boundaries. We chose this movie because it compares NB 5-2 and NB 6-1. Both clones eventually form large numbers of intersegmental interneurons, but those axons do not extend from NB 6-1 until a much later timepoint than do the intersegmental interneurons derived from NB 5-2.
