NB 2-5 generates motoneuron(s) innervating muscles 15,16 and 17 and intersegmental and local interneurons. It also makes a segmental nerve glial cell and it occasionally makes a PNS sub-clone (not shown here). This clone is from an upper abdominal segment.

The features of the NB 2-5 clone are the same in thoracic and abdominal segments.
