NB 3-3 delaminates at S4 and generates intersegmental interneurons as well as a cluster of local interneurons. In 2/3 abdominal segments, we observe a motoneuron that innervates muscle 5.
NB 3-3 in thoracic segments at stage 16. We find the presence of two egg-shaped cells to be absolutely characteristic of the NB 3-3 clone. There are contralateral intersegmental interneurons as well, and a small number of local interneurons. Occasionally we observe ipsilateral local projections, as seen here.
