HOLOGRAPHY
I am an early pioneer in holographic imagery, and listed in WHO’S WHO IN HOLOGRAPHY 1978-79, published by the Museum of Holography. I was primarily trained in holographic imaging techniques by Lloyd Cross and others associated with the School of Holograph y in New York City and San Francisco during the period 1972-78. I worked on my own from 78-80. My Dichromates are in the collections of the JFK Spaceflight Musuem and the Museum of Holography collection at MIT, and private collections around the world.

Here are some photos of holograms I have made, and some of the labs I used.

Holo2 and Holo1 are dichromates made with a 50 millawatt helium-cadium laser. Mariner2 and Pyramid are reflection holograms made with a small 10 millawatt helium-neon laser.

GATTS'S HOLOGRAPHIC PHILOSOPHY
Holograms are made with a single light frequency traveling in phase. Holograms manipulate light, i.e. vibration and energy, and the interaction thereof to form various patterns, ratios, and rhythms which we recognize as 3-D shapes and forms. Scientists ar e beginning to gain a united (whole) understanding of their areas of research by understanding principles of holography. Holography illustrates the Universal Law of Interconnectedness of all things. What happens to the part affects and effects the whole, interpenetrating dimensionally through time-space.

Pattern reveals relationships. In 1979, I theorized that new neural patterns were being activated between the right and left brain, the eye, and consciousness when people observed a true hologram for the first time. I believed such stimuli reinforced tran smission across the Corpus Callosum, eventually making simultaneous use of both sides of the brain possible. (I believe classic Tai Chi Chuan also does this. See my Philosophy and/or Tai Chi Research site if you want more info.) The intellectual, logical left brain becomes more structured in its total awareness. The mind no longer functions in separate spheres of amorphous creativity and mechanical application. It begins to operate as a coherent unit. The ability to focus, inward or outward, and the illum ination of that focus becomes analogeous to the power inherent in laser light as compared to regular light.

Light bounces off in wave SPHERES. Intersecting patterns throughout these waves are recorded. Does this not relate to clairvoyant vision of dancing patterns of effervesant colors, when solids are seen as these cross-sections, or the fabric of space-time i tself? A balanced, dimensional expansion occurs spherically. The more one goes inside, the farther one can go outside. This gives rise to vortex flow, the oscillation/movemnt necessary for life.

In the beginning, we were perhaps a planet of the immediate senses. The intelligence to control and perceive relationships, to see the consequences of events through time was lost. During the DARK AGES our ability to see and feel such interrelatedness has not been a part of mechanistic material intellect and memory association. Only now do we, on a massive world level, have the chance of recovering our senses. We return to wisdom locked in the Nature of both earth and cosmos, perceiving an underlying int elligence expressed biologically and chemically. Such wisdom is understood only through observation of changes over cycles of time, space, and energy.

"ADEPTS regard words of the mouth, functions of the body, conceptions of the mind, and aspirations of the soul as possessing analogies from which a complete system can be constructed. Therefore, each manifested being is a material basis of a long vista of immaterial entities functioning as Spirit, Soul, and Mind in the Formative, Creative, and Archtypal World. Mind is the Plane of Expression. We must strive for WISDOM to contrive to perceive the truth and construct knowledge creatively, STRENGTH to suppor t and preserve, and BEAUTY to adorn."
